About Us

The center aims to give each child a well rounded educational experience through activities and instruction appropriate to their level of development. The curriculum encourages the children to explore their own interest and learn through guided activities and free exploration. The center encourages the child to become socially and emotionally confident.

Children's bodies and mind develop best when they are exposed to a wide variety of activities that challenge them physically and intellectually, without creating frustration. Safe, attractive, and developmentally appropriate materials will invite children to explore and develop their own abilities, talents, and interests. WAMH will provide materials, food, and activities that reflect a variety of cultures to help develop a sense of pride among their own heritage, and respect for other cultures as well. Allowing them to make choices among a variety of materials or activities fosters independence and allows children to exercise their unique preferences.
