Based on the topics, theme, or concepts for the week and/or month, the weekly plan could change. A weekly planning form will be used to address all the developmental areas through desired activities. Each week the following areas will be addressed in one form or another: blocks, dramatic play, toys and games, art, discovery, sand and water, music and movement, cooking, computers, outdoors, math, language, and problem solving.
Routines will be established through daily activities. Group activities and/or individual centers will be based on theme/concepts. The activities throughout the week will vary based on concepts and planning.
